Each year Fullerton Soroptimist presents two awards to community members.  The Violet Richardson Award is presented to a girl age 12-17  in recognition for outstanding service to the community.  The recipient and the charitable organization for which she volunteers receives a monetary award.  

The Woman’s Opportunity Award is a cash grant to a woman who has faced personal and economic challenges and is  seeking to improve her employment status as the primary breadwinner for her family by continuing her education. The award is given is a head of household who is presently enrolled in a preparatory program, or a college or university undergraduate student.  The award offsets the cost of education, books and child care.

Soroptimist Awards
Soroptimist Scholarships 
Each year, Fullerton Soroptimist work with the Miss Fullerton Scholarship Program to recognize the community service and spirit of the participants in the Scholarship Program.  A scholarship is given to the participant based on community service and response to an essay question.  

The 2013 Essay question is:
